- Theatre Competition "Village Tales"
- In the month of February, there is an amateur theatre competition called "Village Tales", organized with the Teatro Moderno di Tegoleto.
- Sculpture Exhibition "(S)oggettivamente and "Painting Award"
- The sculpture exhibition and the national painting award "Città di Civitella" take place in charming hamlets of the medieval village of Civitella every year. For this initiative, which has reached the 15th edition, many artists from all over Italy participate. At the end of both celebrations, a catalogue of all award-winning and outstanding works, chosen by a special jury, is published.
- Summer in Civitella
- Theatre performances and concerts are the open-air rendez-vous organized during the summer in the charming area among the walls of the Castle of Civitella. The theatrical companies of the area and groups of the provincial project "The Theatre and The Sacred" take part in the intiative.
- The Polyphonic International Celebration
- For some years, including the last three, the Comune of Civitella has had a foreign guest choir in the hamlets of Civitella to coincide with the celebration of the polyphonic of arezzo during a traditional party held at the end of summer, organized by the Visitors’ Office of Civitella.
Musical October "The pullman of music"
By now, twelve editions have taken place between September and October, both in "musical October" and "The pullman of music": a series of concerts comprising different sorts of music, the latter project consists of an event attended not only by the people of the area but also of the province, considering that for each concert there is a shuttle service from Arezzo to the different hamlets where the concerts take place. This event is partially financed by C.F.I. and meets with the outstanding success in terms of quality of the shows and in terms of audience considering that the seats available are always completely filled up
- The Municipal Library - The children’s book fair
- The children’s book fair has become a recurring and awaited event, an initiative which in the last years has established a substantial increase in the number of loans from the library and in the use of reference books.
Le scuole del territorio svolgono delle ricerche e producono degli elaborati grafici con i quali viene realizzata una mostra.
Il programma prevede inoltre l'organizzazione di uno stand nel centro di Arezzo in occasione della Fiera antiquaria del mese di Dicembre (prima Domenica), dove i produttori offrono gratuitamente bruschetta preparata con l'olio nuovo. Nei giorni successivi vengono organizzati degli incontri e conferenze sul tema.
"L’olio novo" Initiative (new oil production)
- This initiative of extravergine olive oil produced in the hills of Civitella has become a recurring event. The celebration, which takes place in the month of December, is organized with Slow Food, Managed by Valdichiana. The program provides a stall in the centre of Arezzo, on the occasion of the antiques fair, where the producers offer a bruschetta, garlic bread, topped with new olive oil. Meetings and conferences, on the above-mentioned topic, are organized in the days that follow. Every year, the schools in the area carry out some research work which is then exhibited. Thanks to the initiative, the oil producers of the area have had a high increase in sales.
